Abstract

Regarding cultural diversity in schools, it is only studied in a little time, besides that, learning about cultural diversity is only studied using reading books so that it is less interesting for students to learn it. One of the efforts to instill a love for our native culture is to provide cultural learning in Asahan Regency through a computerized multimedia-based system. With the aim of attracting students' interest in learning. The research method used is a qualitative method. Qualitative research can be understood as a research producer that utilizes descriptive data, in the form of written or spoken words from observable people and actors. Qualitative research is conducted to explain and analyze phenomena, events, social dynamics, attitudes, beliefs, and perceptions of a person or group towards something. The results of testing this system turned out to be able to make children like it with its cute and interesting appearance, so this application can make students interested in playing and learning about how to recognize the cultural diversity of 8 ethnic groups in Asahan Regency, namely Javanese, Karo , Batak, Nias, Acehnese, Minang, Malay and Sundanese. This learning media allows students at SDN 014691 Serdang to learn while playing with the cultural diversity of the 8 ethnic groups in the district. Sharpen this. This learning media consists of literacy operations about explanations of existing cultural diversity materials and interesting games such as puzzles and guessing pictures.
